What’s the saying?
“There’s no wrong way to eat a …” corn dog?
Eh. Close enough, because corn dogs are magical and can be paired with many, many different dipping sauces. For Part Two of my Foster Farms Gluten-Free sponsored post series (of three), I’m going to share several of my favorite gluten-free dipping sauce recipes.
Disclaimer — Foster Farms gluten-free corn dogs are so yummy, you could eat them solo. Why else do you think I would agree to write a three part series about them? They’re that good.
So what’s the lineup?
Ketchup and mustard are obvious front runners when it comes to gluten-free dipping sauces for corn dogs. I’m traditional so ketchup comes out on top as my absolute favorite.
If you want to get a little creative, I also enjoy corn dogs with “Chick-Fil-A knock-off sauce” as well as a sauce so good it’s called “Come Back sauce.”
Chick-Fil-A knock-off sauce — Recipe from tablefortwoblog.com.
Combine 1/2 cup mayo, 2 tablespoons mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey and a dash of salt and pepper.
Come Back sauce — Recipe from addapinch.com.
Combine 1 cup mayo, 1/4 cup gluten-free chili sauce, 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
These are my top four sauce choices, but I’m sure I’m not even aware of many options that are out there.
What dipping sauce do you like with your corn dogs?
