Eleanor’s Bake Shop, located in Utah, now ships their gluten-free products, so I was able to try some of their favorites.
I started by tasting the sweets – brownies and cookies – which were super yummy.
Next, I tried the pre-made bread. It had great flavor but was a little crumbly (similar to a lot of other gluten-free breads). I ate it as toast, grilled cheese and french toast to keep it from crumbling. The french toast was divine.
I also tested their baking flour blend by making cookies. The cookies were a little flat compared to “normal,” but my gluten-eating husband and I loved them because they were just the right combination of chewy and crispy.
Of all the yummy products I tried from Eleanor’s Bake Shop, the bread I made with their bread flour blend and recipe was by far my favorite. I highly, highly recommend it.
This was my first time making bread (regular or gluten-free), and it could not have gone more smoothly.
If you’ve been searching for the perfect gluten-free bread, but haven’t been able to find it. This is your answer. I’m not kidding. Holy amazing.
*Because the homemade bread doesn’t have preservatives, you need to eat it quickly or freeze it.
