About Me

Hi! I’m Brynne.

I’m a wife and mama, celiac gluten-free foodie, aspiring young professional and lover of life. Thanks for stopping by! I started this blog in 2012 as a senior in college after being diagnosed with celiac disease. Since then, this blog has morphed into a place I call home. No matter what phase of life I am in, my keyboard awaits and my readers stay in touch as I navigate through life.

Now, as the wife of my college boyfriend, mother to our a sweet one-and-a-half-year-old and working professional, you’ll find I’ve added topics such as motherhood and lifestyle to the mix.

A little background about why I started a blog in the first place …

Celiac Disease is a condition that damages the lining of the small intestine and prevents it from absorbing parts of food that are important for staying healthy. The damage is due to a reaction to eating gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, rye, and possibly oats. It changed my entire existence.

When I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I was a Division I college swimmer. All those workouts caused me to develop a major love affair with carbs. I never thought it would be possible to give up gluten. I started this blog with the intention of documenting my transition into a gluten-free lifestyle, but I fell in love with gluten-free blogging and have been posting ever since.

I was learning to love the gluten-free lifestyle, and I wanted to help you love it too.

  1. Hey Brynne! Thanks for liking my instagram photo which led me to you here now. 🙂 Although I do not have Celiac Disease, I found out last year I’m sensitive to gluten, so I am leading a gluten-free lifestyle too. I really like the name of your blog and the topics you write about! I’m very excited to meet you here and look forward to more of your posts! 🙂 Cheers, Violet
