Hi! My name is Brynne. Thanks for stopping by.
I started this blog after I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2012. Celiac Disease is a condition that damages the lining of the small intestine and prevents it from absorbing parts of food that are important for staying healthy. The damage is due to a reaction to eating gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, rye, and possibly oats.
When I was diagnosed with celiac disease, my whole world turned upside down. At the time I was a Division I college swimmer. All those workouts caused me to develop a major love affair with carbs. I never thought it would be possible to give up gluten. I started this blog with the intention of documenting my transition into a gluten-free lifestyle, but I fell in love with gluten-free blogging and have been posting ever since.
My mission is to celebrate gluten-free living with recipes, product and restaurant review, and giveaways!
I’m learning to love the gluten-free lifestyle, and I want to help you love it too.
